Our world is a mosaic of tribes, clans, ethnicities, and above all, interesting individuals. I have been fortunate to meet and interact with many of them, from the isolated villages of Central and South America to the pampas of Patagonia, from the back streets of India to the remote islands of Polynesia.  Their unique histories and cultures have fascinated us.  But it is in their faces that we see most vividly the amazing diversity of our planet.
